Namechoice : the name was given by my ex husband. He found the name Ebony nice and because she was
at birth very darkbrown he called her Ebony
Ebony is bred by me out of Peassy (Power Of Love Of Settler's Bay) and Uriah (Uriahs Crying Woulf). Concerning mushing she was a late one because of her redrawing charachter she found it all a little too scary and layed down first, but she bonded really strong with Danika and so one day i decided to try it with her alone, just her en me, nobody around and she went great for about 200 meter and then she had something "and now ?" so i put Danika besides her and they ran like never before like their lifes depended on it... so that year 2008 she ran her first race at the pampa sleddograce in Houthalen helchteren and onsaterday they were even ranked 4th place !!! but on sunday all the best was gone with danika and it was Ebony that pulled through and kept things going, which of course set them back at the 6th place on sunday but afterall on a startinlist with 22 starting team i was satisfied
